Korean War Veterans Memorial
Overview
The Korean War Veterans Memorial was erected in 1999 by the Texas Lone Star Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association.

A bronze eagle tops the polished Texas Sunset Red Granite star-shaped pedestal. The memorial pays tribute to the more than 289,000 Texans who served in the Korean War (1950-1953). It includes the inscribed names of the 1,723 Texans either killed in action or missing in action during the conflict.
